Tejon Ranch lies 110 km from Downtown Los Angeles. At eight times the size of the city of San Fransisco, it is the largest owned parcel of land in Southern California. Tejon Ranch Trust,which now owns the land as a publicly traded trust, recently came to an agreement with the State of California and several environmental groups, including The Sierra Club and The National Resource Defense Council, to develop approximately 1/12 of the land.
